Drum Units are essential components of an imaging system; they are responsible for creating the electrostatic latent images used to print your documents and provide a uniform transfer of the toner to the printed page. All drum units must be replaced at least every 10,000-20,000 copies, depending on usage.

- How do you ensure the PCR has stable resistance and no background fog?
- Every PCR undergoes strict electrical testing. We verify the surface resistance and volume resistance to ensure they match OEM specifications. Our rollers feature a uniform conductive coating that prevents "pinhole effects" and ensures consistent charging, effectively eliminating background fog and ghosting issues.
- Will this PCR cause ozone or noise during operation?
- No. Unlike traditional corona wires, our PCRs use contact charging technology. This significantly reduces ozone emissions to near-zero levels and operates silently, providing a safer and quieter office environment.
- Is the surface coating durable? Will it peel off or contaminate the OPC drum?
- We use high-quality water-based or oil-based coatings applied via precision brushing/spraying to ensure strong adhesion and no air bubbles. The materials are chemically stable and non-migrating, meaning they will not (leach out to contaminate your OPC drum or affect print quality.
- Do I need to clean the PCR before installation?
- New PCRs come with a protective anti-static film. Please remove this film before installation. We recommend wiping the roller gently with a lint-free cloth if there is any dust, but do not use alcohol or harsh solvents as they can damage the conductive coating.
- Can I use this PCR in high-humidity or low-temperature environments?
- Yes. Our PCRs are formulated with environmentally stable conductive materials. They are designed to maintain stable resistance across a wide range of temperatures and humidity, preventing resistance drift that causes light prints (low temp) or background fog (high humidity).
